These are the players from the last Valley campaign I ran. We had some good times playing the campaign, but unfortunately, the game had to end.
The new campaign is very different from the old one. The old one was not really true to the concept that I had originally invisioned for the Valley. But I figured it would be a good campaign anyway. Plus it let me flesh out my fantasy world a little more.
I'll be using the concepts that I had set up for this old campaign in my fantasy world, but as I am not running a fantasy campaign at the moment, I'll have lots of time to work on finishing this new section of that world.

The Old Players
|
| Sam Falco “Quote” In the role of
Date they joined the game: 2001-01-06 | Story |
| Mike Kremkau “What do you mean, no thermo-nuclear warheads?” In the role of
Date they joined the game: 2001-01-06 | Mike, is our token boss/map making guy. He says he works all day long, but I know better. He's usually doing what I do most of my work day, surfin the net. Course with me, that's what I get paid to do.
Mike has recently gotten his A Plus certification. Now he's going to get his MSCE, least that's what I think he told me he was training for next. This means he'll no longer be making maps.
But, he stands a better chance at advancement with computer support training. After all, that's where I was at when I had the chance to get into web site creation.
He has yet to make his character, as I have yet to finish working on the info that the players need. That will hopefully get done over the next few weeks. |
| Tanya Nepote “Don't make eye contact, these wierdos will leave me alone if I don't make eye contact.” In the role of
Date they joined the game: 2001-01-06 | Although we could never understand why Tanya wanted to game with us, we enjoyed her company none the less. I've always thought that it's good to have a woman's perspective in a game, and Tanya fit right in. More so everyday we played. But, she has joined the corporate world and left us behind.
We all wish Tanya luck at her new job. Course, we would also like her to return to the group at sometime in the future, but we understand, Tanya, really we do. |
| Michael Pealrstein “When last we met!” In the role of
Date they joined the game: 2001-01-06 | Mike was the other player who started the new campaign with John Edwards. Unfortunately, he had to move back to Boston for work. |
| Mike Race “Damn, I could be at home playing CS right now.” In the role of
Date they joined the game: 2001-01-06 | Mike, is our token copy repair guy. Sometimes, due to his work load, he can't make it to the games. But, he'll be happy to know that I'll play his character just like he would. I mean how much worst can I make his situation, than he already has. At least I'm smart enough to be on time when called before the council.
But Mike doesn't have to worry to much, the other Mike will help divide the council attention toward himself by speaking out during the council meeting. Ahh, what the future holds for these two.
Mike is playing a dwarf. Kind of surprised me when he decided to play a dwarf character, but if he's happy, then I'm happy. |
| Grady Snipes “Damn, I thought WWII Online would be more fun that this.” In the role of
Date they joined the game: 2001-01-06 | Grady is our token map making guy. He's new to the group, but has graciously allowed us to play at his house. We should all make sure to say, "Thanks Grady" to him from time to time.
Grady is playing a human, the only one in the group. I've run into him a gaming conventions before, but I don't ever remember gaming with him. That allows for some great opportunities for both of us. He doesn't know what to expect from me, which allows me to use some tried a true tricks on him that I can't use on the other players, but I don't know what to expect from him, so he's apt to surprise me with how he handles the situations I throw his way. |
