Looking for a game in the Pinellas area

Postby Maim on Fri Feb 06, 2009 3:41 pm

Hello!
Im a 30+ year old that has gamed for 20+ years. I usually run the game as a DM/GM, but am interested in playing. I used to have a steady weekly game, but everyone got too busy and went separate ways ... and I admit my addiction to Warhammer Online didnt help.

I have played way too many tabletop RPG games to list ... I wont even try it. Id love to play a D20 game, and could even be talked into 4th edition. I would be interested in "retro" games as well (Warhammer Fantasy, etc), and would even try out a homebrew. I am real flexible with house rules and believe that if a DM doesnt have at least 1 house rule he isnt interested enough in the game he is running! LOL

Im hoping to find a steady roleplay group and slowly "ween" myself off of Warhammer and other online games. I have a couple of other friends that I could drag along, but it would just be me at the start.

I "may" have a spot opening in a Wednesday night game that I run. It is an every other Wednesday night game from 5:45/6:00 to 10:00 pm game. It is listed as Pirates of Crimmor in the game schedule and gaming section of this board.

I could go to a wed game without much problem (have sitter issues Id work out). Let me know if a spot come available.

I should have mentioned above that the "best" days for me would be Sunday & Monday, no sitter issues at all there. For other days id have to check to make sure our sitter would be able to watch the babe.

Once I know, for certain, what is happening I will let know. If there is spot opening we would then meet to make sure its a good fit for everyone. The campaign just began, its a pirate/sea based adventure, and we are testing out Pathfinder's 3.5 beta rules. Pathfinder offers it beta version of its rules as free download which is available through Paizo.com. The setting and write up for the game is on this message board under the game section: "Pirates of Crimmor".

I also ran the Shattergard Campaign which is the game we recently concluded.
