Welcome Noble Adventurer

This page contains links to all of the gaming sub-sites that I maintain on JohnPrime.com. Sometimes I think I spent way to much time working on these sites, but hey, it keeps me off the streets. So without further ado, here are the sites in alpha order.

Currently Running
A weird west campaign inspired by a podcast I heard many years ago. I am currently running this game and am trying to update my personal campaign website to include a character generator. We play every other Wednesday from 6 to 10 P.M. I am using Chaosium's Basic Roleplaying system with some house rules added on.

I have an Obsidian Portal version of the site which can be viewed by visiting, Obsidian Portal.

Currently Running
I've been wanting to run a super hero campaign for a while, and finally took the plunge. I am using the DC Adventures rules for the game, no modifications as yet! It is a simpler system than Hero System and also has lots of pre-made heroes and villains from DC along with plenty of heroes and villains available online from Marvel.

I have been working off and on with a personal site but it's not ready yet so instead I've got an Obsidian Portal site!

Currently Running
This is my fantasy campaign, it has seen many different game systems to run it, but I have finally settled on using Chaosium's Basic Roleplaying system. I like it much better than any other system I've tried. I'm using the spells from Pathfinder, bolted on to the system using some home rules that seems to work well so far.

I have an Obsidian Portal site for this game as well.

This is my space game. It's gone through quite a few versions, the latest will be created using Guardians of Order's dX. I have a GURPS version the last time I ran it, but like dX better, so I'm converting. That's partly why not much is on this part of my site. But I'll be working to get more up as I get time. I was going to create the game using the dX system, but have decided to use d20 Future, instead. At least, at the moment. I could change my mind, but right now, it's d20 Future.

Everyone thought it was the ultimate tie from online role-playing to pen and paper role-playing. They've done a great job and one of these days, I'll get a campaign started on it. I'd love to have enough money to create a persistent world, but that would mean that I need to have enough bucks to afford a server and a dedicated internet connection.

One of these days.

Old Campaign
City Of Heroes is an MMORPG, which stands for Massive Multi-player Online Role Playing Game. This game puts the player in the role of a super hero right out of the comics.

A group of guys from the local comic/game store decided to join up for the game, since I was going to buy the game anyway, I decided to tag along. They also needed someone who could do web design, so that's how my City Of Heroes site was born.

Speaking of super heroes, I've been a long fan of comics, since I first started reading them that is. Once I started role-playing, I was delighted to find a company made a game system for playing super heroes. That game is Champions, and my site HeroNet, a name taken directly from the Champions universe, is dedicated to that game.

This site was developed from my involvement with an online free form RPG loosely based on Eden Studio's All Flesh Must Be Eaten. I haven't done much work on the site lately as other projects have taken higher priority, but I'll get back to it someday.

Old Campaign
My Gamma World game, something I've run off and on for quite a few years, was the last game I ran. We finished it or should I say, put the game on hold for the time being, toward the end of 2003. I'll get back to it as far as running it one of these days, but it won't be using the GURPS system. I'll be using GoO's dX game. I'm almost finished with my character generation systems using the dX rules, so as soon as I get that done, I'll be moving on to other projects.

Recently I took an online RPG Purity Test. I'm not sure how the person who wrote it tallies the scores up, but it gives some humors information about the test takers. Below are my scores and a link to the test.
